As a Chef at our restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing delicious Indian cuisine, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food quality standards are met. Tasks & responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
  • Ensure food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures

Qualifications & experience

  • Proven at least 2 years experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous approach to food preparation and presentation
  • Have a full operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes and presentation style of dishes produced within the kitchen
  • Check the freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Prepare curries, sauces and desserts as and when required
