Are you a seasoned professional in the security industry with a passion for leadership and excellence? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Area Manager to manage our security services and ensure the highest standards of safety and protection for our clients.

What You'll Do:

As a Security Area Manager, you will be responsible for the following critical tasks within your designated area:

Lead and manage security teams across designated locations, ensuring consistent and effective security measures.
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard client assets and personnel.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security strategies.
Work collaboratively with clients to implement their specific security needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Train and mentor security personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed to address security incidents.
Prepare and present detailed reports on security operations, incidents, and improvements.
Step into a relief security officer role when required, demonstrating your adaptability and leadership.

Role Requirements:

To excel in this role, we are seeking the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Valid – QLD unarmed Security Licence (with crowd controller), First Aid and Driver’s Licence (Required).
Relevant certifications in security management or related fields such as Cert IV in Training & Assessment, Security Risk Management, or Frontline Management are highly desirable (Preferred).
A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar leadership role within the security industry (Preferred).
Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday Roster (Required).
Strong understanding of security protocols, risk management, and incident response.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and external agencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products and managing company systems.
Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
Proficiency in time management and forward planning.
