Shanghai Brothers is located in 420/440 Craigieburn Rd, Craigieburn VIC 3064. We are currently seeking a qualified Full Time Chef/Cook to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized and passionate.

Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets
Excellent wages and incentives offered to the successful candidate
Salary Range: $70 to $80,000 plus super.

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Performing all food preparation and cooking duties
Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work late till 10:00 pm and on weekends
Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards

Qualifications & experience

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
1 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment Qualifications in commercial cookery- Cert IV (Cook) or Diploma (Chef) or higher
Flexible availability
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Effective communication skills
