You’re not afraid of a bit of elbow grease.

In fact, you’d probably paint the elbow too—if the job called for it. You like things clean, sharp, and ready to roll.

You’ve got a strong back, a good head on your shoulders, and you take pride in a job done properly.

We’re on the hunt for a General Hand / Yardperson who’s not afraid to get stuck in—someone who knows that clean machines run better, that a tidy yard keeps things safe, and that a fresh coat of floor paint is a thing of beauty.

Here’s what you’ll be doing (besides keeping the place looking mint):

• Dressing parts and components so they’re looking their Sunday best before heading out
• Operating the wash bay and keeping machines spick and span
• Jumping on the cut-off saw when needed (no, not a band name… an actual saw)
• Delivering and collecting parts, gear and materials – drivers licence needed
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, painting – keeping the floors looking like a showroom
• General yard and workshop housekeeping that would impress even your most fastidious mate

What you’ll need to bring:

• Permanent Australian Working rights (client will look to offer permanent full time role after probation period)
• A bit of experience around a yard, workshop, or toolshed
• The ability to work independently and crack on without being chased
• A strong safety focus (and a stronger broom arm doesn’t hurt either)

This is a temp-to-perm gig, so if you’re looking for a steady role where hard work’s noticed and clean spaces are celebrated – this could be your thing.
