Fire Alarm Tester

ARA Fire is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned Fire Protection and Detection companies. Our Western Australian branch located in Balcatta is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced person to join our dynamic team to assist in our day to day operations.

This person may be a Trade or Non-Trade person capable of carrying out AS1851 Inspection and Testing on our clients Fire Detection and Fire Protection Systems to their appropriate installation standards.

The role will work closely with internal staff and our clients.  

The person must be capable of undertaking inspection, testing, identification of defects and proposed solutions to resolve defects of all assets in Fire Detection or Fire Protection system

This person shall have the following experience and qualifications;

• Has 3-5 years’ experience in the field

• Capability to work with minimal supervision or technical guidance in completing daily tasks;

• Excellent understanding of AS1851 Inspection and Testing standard.

• Understanding of relevant Fire Detection and Protection system AS installation standards.

• Conduct annual site audits and surveys under AS1851-2005

• Excellent in the use of Iphone Apps, including logging of all testing, defects and changes to job site/assets ARA Fire service software

• Police Clearance

• Unrestricted manual drivers licence
