About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Carpenter, ideally with leadership capability, to join our full-time team in Perth. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in all facets of residential carpentry who is eager to contribute to bespoke renovations, extensions, and new build projects across Perth.

Key Responsibilities

·         Carry out both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry

·         Perform tasks including:

o    Stud framing and roof framing

o    Formwork

o    Installation of wall frames, ceilings, skirtings

o    Installation and repair of doors, windows, stairs, decks, patios, and landings

o    General carpentry and joinery: measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting materials

o    Inspect and replace damaged framework or fixtures

·         Interpret and follow construction plans and drawings

·         Ensure high-quality work is completed safely and efficiently

·         Work independently or as part of a team on-site

·         Lead and supervise small teams when required

Skills & Attributes

·         Trade-qualified Carpenter with 3–5 years of relevant experience

·         Proven experience in residential construction

·         Ability to lead and supervise a team on-site

·         Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

·         Strong understanding of building codes and ability to interpret construction plans

·         Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

·         Effective communicator with strong organisational skills

·         Able to work autonomously and meet deadlines

·         Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

·         Own full set of quality carpentry tools (well maintained)

·         White Card and other relevant tickets (e.g. Working at Heights) are highly desirable
