Bay Window at Randwick Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established venue with a supportive team and a focus on quality food and service.

Task & responsibilities

Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to the daily menu.

Handle ingredients and cook meals using appropriate techniques and kitchen equipment.

Portion meals, arrange them attractively on plates, and finish with sauces, gravies, and garnishes.

Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

Monitor and adjust cooking temperatures for ovens, grills, and other appliances.

Store ingredients and prepared food correctly to ensure freshness and safety.

Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic, following health and safety regulations.

Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff with menu planning and meal preparation.

Help manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and reduce food waste.

Clean and maintain kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas.

Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.


Qualification & experience

Trade qulifications ( certificate III or higher)

At least 1 year of full-time work experience

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

Availability to work weekends and public holidays (as required)
