Task & responsibilities

Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food in our dining establishment. 

Prepare, season and cook high-quality menu items according to recipes and daily requirements. 

Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. 

Assist with menu planning and provide input on specials and seasonal offerings. 

Ensure kitchen hygiene, safety and food handling standards are maintained at all times. 

Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and management about kitchen needs and service demands. 

Support ordering, stock-control and cost management activities. 

Coach and mentor junior kitchen staff where required

Qualification & experience

Proven 1-2 year of commercial kitchen experience

Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

A team-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices.

Relevant culinary qualification highly regarded
