As a Baker / Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bread, pastries, and baked goods to a high standard, ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety compliance.
Salary between $77,000 – $80,000 per annum

Preparing and baking bread, rolls, loaves, artisan products, and specialty baked goods.
Mixing, preparing and baking cakes, pastries, desserts and other baked items.
Measuring and combining ingredients using appropriate techniques and recipes.
Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product consistency and quality.
Decorating and finishing pastries and cakes as required.
Operating and maintaining baking equipment and machinery.
Ensuring all food production meets quality control and presentation standards.
Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies and maintaining stock rotation.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations.
Training and supervising junior staff where required.
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery, Patisserie or related qualification).
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation and pastry production.
Ability to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and food safety
