Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with consistent quality and presentation.
• Assist in planning and developing new recipes aligned with the café’s style.
• Maintain portion control and ensure meals meet menu standards.
• Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and reduce food waste.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness, complying with food safety regulations.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
• Work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours.
• Train and assist junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Contribute to seasonal menus, specials, and promotional dishes.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth kitchen workflow and timely service.
• Maintain knowledge of cooking techniques and trends to enhance menu offerings.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Cert III in Relevant Field.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
