Waiter/Waitress

The Goose is an iconic Southwest restaurant located in Busselton (WA, 6280), currently in search of a passionate and experienced waitstaff to join their team on a full-time basis.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers and showing them to their table.
• Preparing tables, ensuring they are clean and fully set.
• Maintaining knowledge of the complete menu, daily specials, and available items.
• Presenting customers with the menu, informing them of daily specials, and taking orders.
• Checking the quality of dishes before serving them.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Attending tables and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Calculating bills and processing cash or credit card transactions using POS systems.
• Handling customer complaints.
• Train and supervise junior waitstaff, providing guidance and support.
• Strictly adhering to food, sanitary, and safety standards

Skills:

· Minimum 1 year of full-time waiting experience within a restaurant environment (inc. previous experience in Australia).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

· Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Remuneration: $68,900 - $72,000 per year + superannuation

This is a full-time position in Busselton, not a FIFO position. Therefore, suitable candidate is expected to live in the Southwest of WA region.
