Task & responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensuring consistency in portion control, taste, and presentation of all meals.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation in compliance with Australian regulations.
• Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and service.
• Managing daily food preparation to meet customer demand during busy service periods.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, receiving and proper storage of ingredients.
• Minimising food wastage and maintaining cost control measures.
• Supervising and supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment at all times.

Qualification & experience
