Dining Room Attendant/Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the work of support staff including kitchen hands and cleaners

Ensure the dining room, buffet areas, and service stations are clean, organised, and presentable at all times

Monitor stock levels of dining room supplies and ensure all items are fully stocked

Work closely with chefs to ensure the buffet remains tidy, well presented, and adequately stocked

Notify kitchen staff promptly if buffet items are running low

Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in dining and service areas

Provide a welcoming environment for guests and actively obtain feedback from diners regarding their experience

Respond to guest enquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Assist with setting up and packing down dining areas as required

Support the wider team to ensure efficient and smooth service periods

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, dining room supervision, or restaurant service

Strong leadership and team supervision skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

High attention to cleanliness, organisation, and presentation

Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
