With over 15yrs experience in hosting functions, catering, weddings, or corporate events, PULAO HOUSE brings you a wealth of experience coupled with friendly and professional service. This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week

Salary:

$77,000 + superannuation

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene procedures and Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Prepare a range of high-quality meals for our customers
  • Help design new menu items
  • Help estimate stock requirements
  • Streamline processes between our wait staff and kitchen staff
  • Clean food preparation areas and maintain hygiene standards
  • Set up staff workstations with the necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare cooking ingredients (measure ingredients, chop and peel vegetables and cut meat)
  • Prepare food using our approved recipes
  • Maintain customer expectations and accommodate guests with allergies
  • Monitor ingredient quality for freshness
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders
  • Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure they serve hot food
  • Operate kitchen appliances and cooking apparatus
  • Portion and present food according to our expectations.
  • Supervise kitchen hands.

Relevant Qualification Required:

-At least Certificate IV in commercial cookery or relevant qualification related to COMMERCIAL COOKERY

Relevant Experience Required:-Minimum 1 Years’ experience

Skills Required:

· Team management skills

Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong time management skills

· Proficiency in all aspects of food safety

· Positive communication skills, energy and attitude
