Snappys Pizza & Kebab Kilmore is looking for a reliable and experienced full-time Cook (38 hours per week) to join their team located in Kilmore, VIC 3764. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, upholding high standards of food quality and hygiene, and performing effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of items from the menu
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and preparation areas
• Minimise food wastage through effective portioning and storage
• Cater to special dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies)
• Adherent to food safety regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualification & experience

• Cert III in relevant field or 2 years' experience
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings or weekends as required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
