Flinders Street Wharves | Townsville
Flinders Street Wharves is a $30M waterfront hospitality precinct in the historic Burns Philp building on Flinders Street. Since opening in late 2025 we have built one of the busiest venues in North Queensland, running multiple bars, rooftop, kiosk, dining venues, function spaces and live music.
We are looking for an experienced cocktail bartender to join our casual FOH team.
About the role
You will work across our bar areas including Yards Bar, Merchants Bar, the Docks, the laneway and the rooftop, building drinks properly and looking after guests in a high volume waterfront venue.
<ul>
<li>Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer and wine to a consistent standard</li>
<li>Engage guests, make recommendations and drive bar sales</li>
<li>Handle POS, cash and payments accurately</li>
<li>Keep bars clean, stocked and set up for service</li>
<li>Work to RSA, liquor licensing, hygiene and WHS requirements at all times</li>
<li>Assist with open and close, setup and pack down</li>
<li>Support the team through peaks including Cowboys home games, functions and tourism season</li>
</ul>

<li>Proven cocktail experience in a busy bar, venue or restaurant</li>
<li>Solid spirit, beer and wine knowledge, plus classic and contemporary cocktail builds</li>
<li>Current Queensland RSA (essential)</li>
<li>Fast, accurate and calm under pressure</li>
<li>Genuine availability across nights, weekends and public holidays</li>
<li>Friendly, professional and easy to work with</li>
</ul>
