<p>Avoka Pty Ltd t/a Pasta Buoy Huskisson (ABN: 14 659 132 000)&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a skilled chef de partie &nbsp;with hands‑on experience in fresh pasta preparation, commercial kitchen operations, and high‑volume food production.&nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging fresh pasta products and menu execution according to our established recipes and quality standards.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary plus superannuation&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunities for career growth</li><li>Work-life balance</li><li>Training and development programs</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li>4 weeks annual leave per year&nbsp;</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><p>• Preparing and cooking food to Pasta Buoy's required standards of quality, presentation, portion control and consistency.</p><p>&nbsp;• Assisting with menu development, recipe testing, food costing, labour considerations and ordering as directed.&nbsp;</p><p>• Monitoring the quality, freshness, storage, labelling and presentation of food and taking corrective action where required.&nbsp;</p><p>• Following and helping enforce food safety, allergen, hygiene, cleaning, sanitation and workplace health and safety procedures.&nbsp;</p><p>• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen, cool room, freezer, dry store, preparation and service areas.&nbsp;</p><p>• Using equipment safely and reporting faults, hazards, breakages, maintenance issues and incidents promptly.&nbsp;</p><p>• Assisting with stock control, stocktakes, receiving goods, rotation, waste control and preservation/storage of food.&nbsp;</p><p>• Working cooperatively and respectfully with kitchen, bar, floor, management and other staff.&nbsp;</p><p>• Assisting with the training and development of kitchen staff when reasonably required.&nbsp;</p><p>• Following lawful and reasonable directions, rosters, recipes, procedures, checklists and operational standards.&nbsp;</p><p>• Treating colleagues, customers, suppliers and contractors professionally and respectfully and not engaging in bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation or belittling conduct.</p><p>&nbsp;• Performing other reasonable duties consistent with the Employee's position, classification, skills and experience.</p><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Certificate III in Commercial Cookery</li><li>Hands-on experience in pasta preparation</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li></ul>
