Rode Meats is a well-established, family owned butcher shop that has proudly served the Stafford Heights community for over 30 years. Alongside our quality meats were known for our busy onsite kitchen, producing a wide range of fresh, ready made meals and quick delicious lunch options that have made us a favourite among locals and tradies alike
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our friendly team. This is a face paced role where you'll be preparing high quality ready made meals and cooking fresh food to order for our customers. If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen and take pride in producing great food we'd love to hear from you
 
Qualifications &amp; experience
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as a chef or cook in a fast paced kitchen</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high food quality and presentation</li>
<li>Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practises</li>
<li>Reliable, hardworking and a team player with a positive attitude</li>
<li>On the job training provided for the right candidate</li>
</ul>
 
Tasks &amp; responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepare a variety of fresh ready made meals</li>
<li>Coo burgers and other menu items to order</li>
<li>Assist with food preparation and stock rotation</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen</li>
<li>Follow food safety standards and company procedures</li>
