CREAMY CREATIONS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD T/A CAKES FOR YOU&nbsp;is looking for an experienced Pastry Cook for their location in Alice SpringsSalary: $79,500+ SuperannuationDuties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Baking pastry items according to pre-established recipes.</li><li>Decorating pastries in a consistent style.</li><li>Following plating and display standards.</li><li>Following portion standards.</li><li>Maintaining inventory of prepped ingredients.</li><li>Properly labeling and storing ingredients.</li><li>Keeping the baking area and tools clean.</li><li>Consulting with the Head chef and owners to plan menus.</li><li>Executing pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests.</li><li>Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.</li><li>Creating enticing confectionery decorations and delicious pastry fillings, as well as keeping abreast of new pastry baking techniques.</li></ul>Skills<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Hand shaping skills.</li><li>The ability to work independently alongside co-workers.</li><li>Great attention to detail and a passion for consistency.
