Key Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare, mix, mould and bake breads, sourdoughs, brioche buns, pastries and other baked products according to recipes and production schedules.</li><li>Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to maintain consistency and product quality.</li><li>Monitor baking processes and adjust oven temperatures, proofing times and production schedules where required.</li><li>Operate and maintain bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, bun rounders and proofers.</li><li>Produce artisan breads and laminated pastry products to company specifications.</li><li>Ensure products meet established quality standards and presentation requirements.</li><li>Assist in developing new products and improving existing recipes to meet customer demand.</li><li>Maintain stock levels of ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment and storage facilities.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets.</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul><li>Minimum 1-3 years' relevant experience as a Baker.</li><li>Experience producing artisan breads, sourdough products, brioche buns and pastries is highly desirable.</li><li>Sound knowledge of food safety and quality assurance procedures.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li>Availability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.</li></ul>
