We offer a friendly, supportive, and team-oriented workplace where our staff work together to provide an outstanding customer experience.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our growing team.Key Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffees and other hot and cold beverages.</li><li>Prepare frappés, iced drinks, milkshakes, and smoothies to cafe standards.</li><li>Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.</li><li>Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.</li><li>Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.</li><li>Operate, clean, and maintain commercial coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.</li><li>Monitor coffee beans, milk, and other beverage supplies and assist with stock rotation and replenishment.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area in accordance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.</li><li>Restock display cabinets and ensure the café remains clean, tidy, and well presented.</li><li>Assist with general café duties as required.</li><li>Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day café operations.</li></ul>Experience and Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Barista.</li><li>Certificate III or IV in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or a related field will be highly regarded.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prepare quality espresso-based coffee, including milk texturing and latte art.</li><li>Experience operating commercial coffee machines and grinders.</li><li>Good knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage service, and café operations.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.</li></ul>Why Join Us?If you are passionate about coffee, enjoy working in a busy cafe and restaurant environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.Join our friendly and dedicated team and become part of a well-established local business in Harvey.&nbsp;How to ApplyInterested applicants are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their relevant barista experience and availability online or by email to harveyfusion@yahoo.com .
