Ensure meals are prepared consistently and presented to a high standard. Check the freshness and quality of ingredients and food products. Assist with menu planning and development when required. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies. Maintain appropriate portion control and minimise food wastage. <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience. Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen. Strong food preparation and cooking skills. Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to food quality, presentation and consistency. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
